So now we're really starting to approach spring, give it 3 weeks and the shorts will be out, hats on and sunnies at the ready. Well, maybe not in England... unlucky.
I've had a flick through some magazines and seen what re-occuring trends are appearing throughout the fashion world this Spring and it's looking exciting. First up, Fendi...

Mr Lagerfeld has designed a stunning collection, and it looks as if 70's is back.

We saw a huge burst of 80's last Spring/Summer/Winter and it now looks as if we've skipped back a decade and welcomed the 1970's style with open arms.
Onto Gucci...

Straight, long pencil-like outfits are rife in this collection. Darker shades are hot too, just because it's summer you don't have to opt for white. Explore other colours like camels and browns. Go organic!

It looks as if it's all about the softer colours this Spring/Summer... peaches & nudes are huge so invest!
Once again, the 70's have popped up here and have popped up big time. High round-necks, below the knee dresses & much more. Take a minimalistic approach when it comes to dressing this season, just think, less is more.
Have some fun with Moschino...

Add some fun to your outfits and accessorise with big hats, silk scarfs (vintage ones are hot) chunky jewelry and of course, the perfect pair of sunnies. Don't get me wrong, designer sunglasses are nice and are much better quality than ones you can buy on the High Street, but for your one week holiday to Aiya Napa, go cheap and chic and head down New Look. They have some great collections and you could probably buy 10 paris for half the price of one designer pair!
Although these Moschino outfits completely contradict nearly everything I have stated previously about this Spring/Summer 2011, only brave the big & bold if you're confident enough too. You can still stand out in nudes & pastels and don't need a huge hat and tacky badges added on to your outfits to look different! If you're sure you've got the right look and really feel you can pull it off then go for it :)
Ooh and one more thing, as 70's is back, let length say it all. I will say no more.
