LOOK OF THE WEEKEND/WEEK/MONTH?!

Hello lovelies, I feel so bad for not posting much recently but we've been rushed off our feet over here in Dubai with visitors from the UK and I just haven't had the time, I should be getting back on track to daily posts now, fingers crossed! What I have had the time for however, is taking pictures of my outfits. We've been going out loads so there's always been a chance to dress up a bit :)

Here's what I wore on Thursday night when I went to see WESTLIFE at the Jebel Ali Resort with my best pal Alex...

I decided to dress pretty casual with a denim shirt from Zara, white v-neck tee from River Island, chinos from Topman & loafters from Massimo Dutti. I wasn't sure whether to team this outfit with my Louis Vuitton bag or Longchamp, but the LV's a lot smaller and much more handier with compartments and whatnot so I opted for that (although it's not in the pic).

Westlife were, as I expected, AMAZING, and sang all my favourites, 'Flying Without Wings', 'Home', 'You Raise Me Up' etc etc. The only thing that did piss me off was the taxi queue on the way out, AN HOUR AND HALF I stood waiting there, not impressed Dubai Taxi, not impressed one bit.

So, you can look forward to plenty more posts and plenty more outfits, but for now, I'm knackered and have to be up for the gym & a mani/pedi appointment in the morning... living the life of luxury.

SPRING/SUMMER 11 TREND ALERT...

So, last year we saw the explosion of the Straw Trilby hat, and it's definitely making a comeback this year. Every main high street retailer is stocking the straw trilby so it's even more easy for you to go and get yourself one.

Cheryl Cole started off the trend back in June last year, whilst in LA...

The style icon teamed the trilby with a cute tee and shorts, and some big sunnies. Ever since this picture was taken the trilby was re-introduced to us and hasn't left our sight...

Above, stars such as Alexa Chung, Cameron Diaz & Alexandra Burke work the straw trilby perfectly with an array of outfit choices, from maxi dresses to leather jackets.

Right now the High Street is overflowing with these hats and you'll be stupid not to get one, they're perfect for any summer holiday and  great for the warmer days of an English summer spent in a beer garden.

Well hello again!

So it's been like... a week? I feel ridiculously guilty about the neglect and had many sleepless nights over this, not really, but it's definitely time to make a return and entertain you all (hopefully?) with my daily posts. I've had a busy week what with my best friend over from England and showing her around Dubtown Massive, doing all the usual touristy stuff that I secretly love... It's been a nice break but it's time to get back into the swing of things.

Whilst reading a magazine I stumbled across an article about an online store called 'Go British'... apologies if you've already been there, done that, got the tee, been sick on it, etc, but it's an exciting discovery for me!

'The store concept mirrors the wonderful, eclectic nature of the way in which the British shop and choose items of superb quality and unusual design. GO-BRITISH.CO.UK is a truly British gift boutique that offers stylish and whimsical gift ideas.'

So... in a nutshell, it's an online shop selling everything that means 'British', including designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Paul Smith, Holland & Holland, Temperley London and much more. It's great for gifts and sell the usual, quirky, 'urban outfitters' style tea sets but most items come at a price. Personally I think it's worth it but take a look and see for yourself.

Here are a few of my favourite items I've seen so far...

Globe Trotter Mini Utility Case £245

Dents Gentlemen Driving Gloves £45

Paul Smith Bag £255
Hunter Wellies £280

Victoria Grant Beret £590 (Exclusive to Go British)

Vivienne Westwood Ring £110
Vivienne Westwood Bag £470

Stock up on your great and British all in preparation for the Royal Wedding which is fast approaching this month? I think I'm more excited to see what Victoria Beckham will be waring whilst heavily pregnant with her fourth child than Kate Middleton, future Queen of England herself! We'll have to wait and see...
